An International Conference of the Wittgenstein-Award Project
“Mobility, Microstructures and Personal Agency”
18 November 2021 (evening lecture)
19-21 November 2021 (main conferences)
University of Vienna
The Moving Byzantium Project was funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) from 2015-2021, through the award of the Wittgenstein-Preis to Prof. Dr. Claudia Rapp. This has enabled a multi-generational group of scholars to engage in collaborative research exploring mobility, microstructures and personal agency.
In this concluding conference, the team members present aspects of their own research in dialogue with colleagues who are working on related topics.
The scheduling on three consecutive afternoons should make online attendance from overseas possible.
Due to the limited room capacity, only invited guests can be present. The event can also be followed live online.
PRE-REGISTRATION for this online event is mandatory. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. For Zoom-safety reasons, after you confirm your data we will send you event’s link a few days or hours before the lecture.
A keynote lecture is held on 18 November at 5pm:
